Train the Trainer:
The Magic of Creating Emotionally Safe and Sacred Spaces for Deeper Learning and Connection with Michael Kline and Colleen Sorensen
Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 pm
Ringling College of Art and Design
This Train the Trainer Session is open to our Presenters/Leaders and a limited amount of seats for attendees as a pre-conference add-on.
This program is an expansion of one of our most popular and highly reviewed workshops. Don’t be fooled by the title, “Safe and Sacred” by any descriptive words, they are essential in any environment. Experience a variety of methods and exercises, no matter the size or type of audience. And the big secret is – how to fulfill the intention without ever mentioning the intention of “creating safe space” to your audience. You will participate in five (or more) magical techniques you can easily take into your own training, meeting, or retreat spaces. As a direct and instant result, your students, employees or participants will feel safer and deepen their learning, build connections, and even give higher satisfaction scores. Past participants said they were able to make easy and instant tweaks to their conference presentations after attending.
Key Takeaways:
- You will leave with at least eight techniques as well as additional tips, tricks, and advice to use in their classroom, meeting room, or retreats to increase emotional safety.
- You will be ready to use these new techniques immediately with students, employees, or participants to participate in teamwork, communications, asking questions, sharing vulnerably, asking for help, and their own emotional well-being.
- These qualities are proven to directly impact learning, productivity, retention, and satisfaction.
- Experience live emotional processing with a volunteer.
- Learn a variety of ways to elegantly close your session when you are out of time.
- Q/A bring your facilitation challenges and questions.
