Brynne Anne is the chief operating officer at Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. She is a trained geochemist turned non profit manager and has worked in several parts of the country: Denver, Seattle, Philadelphia and Sarasota for the oil industry,  Girl Scouts and blood banking. Alan is a Creative Thinking Consultant and his company is entitled, Cre8ng People, Places & Possibilities. When not traveling the world, Alan calls Athens (Georgia) home.  As a consultant, speaker and author, he helps people expand and enrich their natural creative abilities. Theodore (Ted) Callisto has retired from serving as Adjunct Professor at Canisius College (Buffalo, NY). His teaching and administrative experience includes public and private education. In East Aurora Schools he has taught middle and high school, served as a middle school principal and District Director of Special Education.  He was also principal of Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Buffalo, NY).  As a Partner in DOK Publishers and SC Associates, Ted has consulted with business, industry and education both in the USA and abroad.  He has authored books, articles and videotapes including Observational Analysis, Parents Make the Difference, and G/T in the Regular Classroom. Ted and his wife Diane now live in Sarasota where he continues to be active in creativity work.  Ted is the founder of the Florida Creativity Weekend and is a Colleague of the Creative Education Foundation. K.T. is an OD and axiometrics specialist (Axiometrics = measuring judgment).  Clients include IBM, Merrill Lynch, Ford Motor Company, Duke Energy and many more.  K.T. is the past president of the Creative Education Foundation (CEF) and has been a leader at CPSI (Creative Problem Solving Institute since the 1970s.  An organizational development specialist for more than 25 years, she employs her axiometrics expertise in facilitating employee selection, coaching and development of employees, succession planning, culture analysis and team building.  She is the author of Rebuilding Work: Making Work as Need-Fulfilling as a Tropical Vacation and A Code of Ethics for Space Exploration and Habitation in Beyond Earth: the Future of Humans in Space. Maggie is a passionate proponent of the Creative Problem Solving process who has lived in Central Florida for the past twenty years. In her ten years with Cox Radio, Inc., Orlando, Maggie facilitated the creative process for clients such as Disney's Animal Kingdom, Sea World, Universal Studios CityWalk, Daytona International Speedway, Wet 'n Wild, Orlando Utilities Commission, the Florida Democratic Party, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Florida Hospital, and a host of other businesses and charitable organizations in the Central Florida area.  Maggie currently utilizes her talents at the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center. Lee has enjoyed four decades of professional and academic experience in teaching creativity, directing and coaching in communication and theatre arts. She is now focused on developing human potential through facilitation in the arts and CPS. Since 1978 Lee has served as a leader in all programs of the Creative Problem-Solving Institute (CPSI), as well as serving on the Board of the Creative Education Foundation. She presents cross-cultural workshops in Italy, South Africa, and the United States. When not traveling and visiting family and friends, Lee calls the Boston area home.
 
Clare Dus Sat 9:00 - Awaken Your Senses
Clare is the director of innovation at Sensory Spectrum in northern New Jersey. In that role she listens to clients, asks questions and then designs innovative methodology to meet their needs.  Clare has an understanding of the concerns unique to sensory evaluation.  She has tasted, smelled, felt and looked at a wide range of products including foods and beverages, personal care products, paper products, fabrics and pharmaceuticals.  She is an active member of the Institute of Food Technology (IFT) and is currently chair of long-range planning for the Sensory Evaluation Division. Sat & Sun at 8:15 - Yoga: A Gentle Stretch for the New Day; Sat 2:45: Yoga: Creating KULA (A Community of the Heart)
Mariel Freeman began studying yoga and meditation at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2001, and has studied Anusara with Deb Neubauer since 2002. She traveled to India in 2003 to study meditation, sustainability, and Integral Yoga. Upon returning in 2004, she attended Todd Norian's 200-hour yoga teacher training, as well as workshops with John Friend and Douglas Brooks. Mariel graduated in May from U. Mass with a degree in Holistic Healthcare. She recently moved to Sarasota to have quality time with her sister Lindsay and to continue her Anusara studies with Betsey. Kitty is Co-Chair of this conference and is a lifelong learner who has been involved in education as a student (PreK à PhD) and professional for fifty years. She has also made a lifelong commitment to community involvement.  Currently she teaches graduate level courses in education, serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Scouts of GulfCoast, Florida and is actively involved in the Creative Education Foundation as a new member on the Board of Trustees and as a long-time leader at CPSI (Creative Problem Solving Institute). Sun 9:00 - WOW! A Wade in the Wetlands
Russ Hoffman is a trained Lake Manager. His environmental roots go back to Iowa State University where he studied fish management, animal ecology, ornithology, environmental design and limnology (the study of lakes, ponds and streams).
The Florida Lake Management Society granted Mr. Hoffman funds to develop an educational pond at Palma Sola Botanical Park in Bradenton. You may visit this pond to discover ways to make your pond healthier and more attractive. Russ is a board member and Conservation Chairperson for the Friends of Oscar Scherer State Park. Anthony Hyatt Sat. 10:45 - Creative Expression & Healthy Aging and Sun 9:00 - Diving Deep: Enriching the CPS Process with Music
Anthony is a violinist and multimedia performance artist from the Washington DC area whose interest is in the role and use of improvisation techniques in the creative process.  He is a teacher for the Arts for the Aging, Inc. (AFTA)  organization under whose auspices he presents interactive programs of music and movement at senior citizen centers and for whom he co-directs the senior citizen improv dance company known as Quicksilver.  His performance credits also include multiple appearances as a member of the Naoko Maeshiba Performance Collective.  Anthony is a leader at the annual conferences of the USA based Creative Education Foundation  and of CREA  the Creativity European Association.  He does does additional creativity consulting and facilitation work through his own organization which is called Moving Beauty. Sat 1:30 - Kinesthetic Activities: Keeping it Moving!
Sherry is currently the Director of Adult Development for the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida. Providing training opportunities for the over 3,000 adult volunteers is no small task!  She began college majoring in physical education and then completed her degree in Organizational Development/BusinessAdministration. Sherry ‘speaks’ fluent sign language and serves as the signer for her church. She is active in ASTD and as a volunteer with the Manatee Players. As a facilitator, organizational consultant and mediator for over 20 years, Kathy has worked with individuals, groups and organizations engaging their energy and spirits in pursuit of their goals. A Colleague and former leader with the international Creative Education Foundation, she sees creativity as a cornerstone of her work. Kathy is currently emerging from a self-gifted sabbatical of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual replenishment.   She rejuvenates through walking, yoga, journaling and painting. Liz Monroe-Cook, Ph.D. Sat 2:45 - Holistic Creativity: The Power of Paradox
Liz is a consulting psychologist focusing on individual, group and organizational effectiveness through creative thinking, the polarity perspective and the factors of “emotional intelligence.” She calls Chicago home. Her practice includes facilitation, training, qualitative research, public speaking, counseling and psychotherapy.  A rich array of work setting and clients – academic, corporate, government and nonprofit – has given Liz many opportunities to “manage polarities.”  She serves as a leader at the Creative Problem Solving Institute, administers the MBTI, has taught DeBono’s Lateral Thinking, and is a devoted supporter of the arts.

Co-Chair, Nancy's extensive work with Fortune 500 companies led to Seeds for Change, her program for empowering people in the midst of increasing change. Nancy custom designs programs for organizations in these turbulent times to increase employees' and teams' emotional intelligence, creativity, and peak performance. Nancy also coaches individuals and teaches teleclasses. She is a Trainer for Heartmath, a Charter Associate Partner of George Land's Leadership 2000, a trainer in thinking styles., Foundations of Productivity and is experienced in Leadership and Team Building training. In her free time Nancy studies and performs ballroom dancing, enjoys live theater, opera and cinema, and performs in community theater.  She goes scuba diving, travels and enjoys riding her Harley.  She is also active as a community volunteer with non-profit agencies and organizations. Marcia was an art teacher in Ohio and did her graduate work at Case Western Reserve while she was also at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She has helped to start several children's art programs in Sarasota including bringing Sarasota Season of Sculpture to middle school classes. She and her husband Allan,  who is also an artist,  own Quantum Wellness Center. Marc is an architect with offices on Siesta Key. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of GulfCoast Florida. Marc chaired the Council Office Task Group and has participated in the planning, development, and building of the new regional campus. He has generously shared his architectural and engineering expertise with great results! Be forewarned  Marc also has a great sense of humor!
 
  Celia Szelwach Sat 2:45 - Who Packs Your Presenter's Parachute?
Celia is a 2003 Women in Business Winner for Tampa Bay and is the President and CEO of Creative Collaborations Consulting, specializing in organizational development, change management, leadership coaching, and multicultural business development. She is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and draws on both her military and corporate experience (Tropicana Products, 1995-2000) in her consulting. As a freelance writer, Celia writes the monthly diversity column for Tampa Bay’s Maddux Business Report and serves as the business columnist for U Manatee Magazine.  She is the author and publisher of Who Packs Your Presenter’s Parachute? David Tanner, PhD

Sat 10:45 - Birth & Growth of a Creative Thinking Network
David was Director of the DuPont Center for Creativity & Innovation which he founded in 1990.  Prior to that he held many management positions in DuPont including Director, Research and Development.  He is a past President of the American Creativity Association and served as Executive Director of the Edward de Bono International Creative Forum.  Dr. Tanner has a PhD in polymer science and holds 33 US patents.  When he retired from DuPont, after over 30 years of service, he authored the book Total Creativity in Business & Industry: Roadmap to Building a More Innovative Organization. Becca currently lives in New York City and has a busy life as a massage therapist and student.  She is at the midpoint in her masters degree program in Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine.  Her earlier studies focused on theater performance and she continues to dabble in the field. She has been involved with creativity in many ways and has been attending and, more recently, leading at the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) since 1984. Jesse Wallace is a professional drummer in New York City.  His musical experiences run the gamut from Irish/American Folk to Noise Rock to an Ambitious Orchestra to Latin Rock Operas.  You name it he can play it!  He spends his afternoons teaching aspiring drummers to have four way independence of their limbs. She is the author of The Port-Wine Sea, co-author of Your Limitless Inventing Machine, and author of The Better Baby, a new book about raising happy geniuses.
