Marcia teaches creatively and fulltime at Webber International University in the area of computers and business statistics and is an adjunct online professor for SouthUniversity Online. Marcia has a wonderful time living and learning and applying the many concepts learned from everywhere. She has presented a variety of e-Creativity sessions for both education and business. Saturday, 9:00 - Drawing as a Way of Thinking

Alan has been drawing since he could pick up something that made marks on his bedroom walls.  Though his mother didn’t appreciate that, he kept on drawing for fun and to communicate because he could not actually speak until his was about 6 years old.  Over the next 30 years he became a licensed award-winning architect, graphic & signage designer, interior and industrial designer, plus a television news writer and editor before volunteering one day a week as a gifted education teacher for 22 academically gifted elementary school children.  That volunteer work led him on over 30 year journey as a creative thinking consultant who wanders the world focusing on developing Cre8ng Communities throughout entire companies and organizations from their front or rear doors to their top floor through individual consulting or as part of teams of creativity colleagues from around the globe. Ted is co-founder of Applied Creativity, Inc. a consulting firm dedicated to assisting individuals and organizations in reaching their creative potential.  Ted has consulted with numerous fortune 50 companies and other organizations worldwide on creativity and the effective management of innovation.  He is the creator of the game Diversity which explores mental diversity and co-author of Wow! How Did They Think of That? The Principles of Creativity.  Ted's currently expressing his creativity in the realm of nature/wild life photography and his latest adventure took him on a photo excursion of the Eastern Everglades of Florida.

Lynn is a retired elementary school principal from a large suburban school district in New Jersey. Her educational expertise includes staff development for teachers, mentorship, and training in the areas of differentiated instruction, Emotional Intelligence and multiple intelligences, imagery, reflection, personal growth, Creative Problem Solving, Cooperative Learning, and instructional strategies.  Presently, she is working for Learning Plus, an organization that provides quality staff development programs specializing in differentiated instruction, assessment, strategies for diverse learners, collaborative teaching, and multiple intelligences to name a few.  Lastly, Lynn is most proud of being a facilitator/presenter for the Creative Problem Solving Institute and has facilitated workshops in CPS, developing leadership style, team building, mentoring, and tools and techniques of creativity.  Email: lwfrankel@aol.com

Carla currently combines her love for cultures and religion through teaching classes in multicultural diversity and world religions online. She previously taught elementary Spanish immersion classes for the Department of Defense in Germany and Japan. Other educational and missionary opportunities took her to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Spain. Considering herself a life-long learner and educator, she's enjoying caring for her two small children, working on her dissertation on distance education.

Kitty is Co-Chair of this conference and
is a lifelong learner who has been involved in education as a student (PreK à PhD) and professional for fifty years. She has also made a lifelong commitment to community involvement.  Currently she teaches graduate level courses in education, serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Scouts of GulfCoast, Florida and is actively involved in the Creative Education Foundation as a new member on the Board of Trustees and as a long-time leader at CPSI (Creative Problem Solving Institute). John is VP of Insights Marketing Group in Miami (IMG). He has years of marketing research experience and many multinational clients for whom he develops creative solutions to their marketing challenges. John is an active member of the Qualitative Research Consultant Association (QRCA), and is on the Executive Board of the Creative Education Foundation (CEF). Tim Hurson

Sherry is currently the Director of Adult Development for the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida. Providing training opportunities for the over 3,000 adult volunteers is no small task!  She began college majoring in physical education and then completed her degree in Organizational Development/BusinessAdministration. Sherry ‘speaks’ fluent sign language and serves as the signer for her church. She is active in ASTD and as a volunteer with the Manatee Players. Marsha is the owner of proACTive software, and pulls from a creative business background to help clients achieve their goals. Liz is a consulting psychologist focusing on individual, group and organizational effectiveness through creative thinking, the polarity perspective and the factors of “emotional intelligence.” She calls Chicago home. Her independent practice includes facilitation, training, qualitative research, public speaking, counseling and psychotherapy.  A rich array of work settings and clients – academic, corporate, government and nonprofit – has given Liz many opportunities to “manage polarities.”  She serves as a leader at the Creative Problem Solving Institute, is a graduate of the Mastery Program in Polarity Management™ and is a consultant affiliate of Polarity Management Associates and thinkx intellectual capital.

Co-Chair, Nancy's extensive work with Fortune 500 companies led to Seeds for Change, her program for empowering people in the midst of increasing change. Nancy custom designs programs for organizations in these turbulent times to increase employees' and teams' emotional intelligence, creativity, and peak performance. Nancy also coaches individuals and teaches teleclasses. She is a Trainer for Heartmath, a Charter Associate Partner of George Land's Leadership 2000, a trainer in thinking styles., Foundations of Productivity and is experienced in Leadership and Team Building training. Marcia was an art teacher in Ohio and did her graduate work at Case Western Reserve while she was also at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She has helped to start several children's art programs in Sarasota including bringing Sarasota Season of Sculpture to middle school classes. She and her husband Allan,  who is also an artist,  own Quantum Wellness Center.

William Sturner, Ph.D

William Sturner, Ph.D., is the author of ten books, father of two children, spoiler of five grandchildren, lover of art and music,  international consultant and trainer, psychotherapist, and very spirited and joyful facilitator.

      * He is a former editor with Sperry-Rand and research assistant to the editor of The Washington Post. 

     * His university appointments have included professorships at three American universities, vice presidencies at two, and visiting professorships at the universities of Buffalo State, Santiago de Compostela, Limerick, Moscow State, Istanbul and Malta. 

     * He is also a Senior Facilitator for the Creative Problem Solving Institute, and has for the last forty years offered training and consulting throughout the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Becca
currently lives in New York City and has a busy life as a massage therapist and student.  She will complete her masters degree program in Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine in December.  Her earlier studies focused on theater performance and she continues to dabble in the field. She has been involved with creativity in many ways and has been attending and, more recently, leading at the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) since 1984.
