Graphic Facilitation of Selected Sessions and SWAP Meet
Graphic facilitator Brandy Agerbeck creates conceptual maps of conversations. Since 1996, her drawing and thinking skills have facilitated groups in finding clarity and understanding their work. Brandy has worked with groups from 2 to 200, across industries, creating images to help people navigate the complex world around them. Her wonderful site, Loosetooth.com, documents all of her circles of creative work, including drawing, collage, quilting, printmaking, blogging, digital photography.

Marcia teaches creatively and fulltime at Webber International University in the area of computers and business statistics and is an adjunct professor for SouthUniversity Online. Marcia has a wonderful time living and learning and hopefully applying the many concepts learned from everywhere. Marcia also consults on Word, PowerPoint, Access databases, and Excel spreadsheets. Alan is a Creative Thinking Consultant and his company is titled, Cre8ng People, Places & Possibilities. When not traveling the world, Alan calls Athens (Georgia) home.  As a consultant, speaker and author, he helps people expand and enrich their natural creative abilities. Missy Carvin is a Field Executive with Girl Scouts of Westchester*Putnam and is the advisor to their “By Girls, For Girls” committee. A lifetime Girl Scout herself, Missy enjoys using her theater and history background to helping develop leadership in the girls she works with. Missy has attended CPSI Winterfest and Summerfest in Buffalo and is very sad that camp directors can’t make it to CPSI now that it’s held later in June!

Ted is co-founder of Applied Creativity, Inc. a consulting firm dedicated to assisting individuals and organizations in reaching their creative potential.  Ted has consulted with numerous fortune 50 companies and other organizations worldwide on creativity and the effective management of innovation.  He is the creator of the game Diversity which explores mental diversity and co-author of Wow! How Did They Think of That? The Principles of Creativity.  Ted's currently expressing his creativity in the realm of nature/wild life photography and his latest adventure took him on a photo excursion of the Eastern Everglades of Florida.

Lynn is a retired elementary school principal from a large suburban school district in New Jersey. Her educational expertise includes staff development for teachers, mentorship, and training in the areas of differentiated instruction, Emotional Intelligence and multiple intelligences, imagery, reflection, personal growth, Creative Problem Solving, Cooperative Learning, and instructional strategies.  Presently, she is working for Learning Plus, an organization that provides quality staff development programs specializing in differentiated instruction, assessment, strategies for diverse learners, collaborative teaching, and multiple intelligences to name a few.  Lastly, Lynn is most proud of being a facilitator/presenter for the Creative Problem Solving Institute and has facilitated workshops in CPS, developing leadership style, team building, mentoring, and tools and techniques of creativity.  Email: lwfrankel@aol.com
 

Jane Goldwasser

Jane Goldwasser is half of New Directions Consulting, Inc. a qualitative research company specializing in new product development. In her spare time, she co-leads a troop of 29 6th and 7th grade girls with her daughter and several good friends and is the President of the Board of Directors of her local Girl Scout Council. She is a CPSI alum who just completed the Integrating Creative Leadership program.
 

Christina Gonzalez

Christina is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed mental health counselor, a national board certified counselor and certified family and civil mediator. She is in the dissertation stage of her doctorate in Counseling Psychology.. Christina has served on multiple community boards and advisory committees and has worked in both education and mental health fields in Mexico and the United States and is the mother of two active teenagers. Paul Gronki, Ph.D.

An economist and student of consumer behavior by training, Paul has been a marketing professional for 30 years. Currently a Consulting Partner and Productive Thinking Facilitator with thinkx Intellectual Capital Inc., he was most recently the principal of a marketing, strategy, and business development group using creative problem solving techniques to help clients identify and prioritize their complex research and marketing needs. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Hudson Guild (a 100-year-old+ settlement house in New York City), is the treasurer for the Creative Education Foundation, facilitates problem solving sessions with not-for-profits for Facilitators Without Borders, is on the faculty of the Creative Problem Solving Institute, and serves on numerous community organizations.

 Paul has helped firms such as J. P. Morgan, HSBC, Bankers Trust, and Citibank develop marketing strategies targeting the sophisticated banking and investment management needs of affluent and private banking clients in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Before entering the financial services industry, Paul was an associate scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory where he modeled energy supply and demand responses to changes in energy pricing and availability using large-scale econometric and linear programming models. Carla Gull

Carla currently combines her love for cultures and religion through teaching classes in multicultural diversity and world religions online. She previously taught elementary Spanish immersion classes for the Department of Defense in Germany and Japan. Other educational and missionary opportunities took her to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Spain. Considering herself a life-long learner and educator, she's enjoying caring for her two small children and starting her dissertation on distance education.

Kitty is Co-Chair of this conference and is a lifelong learner who has been involved in education as a student (PreK à PhD) and professional for fifty years. She has also made a lifelong commitment to community involvement.  Currently she teaches graduate level courses in education, serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Scouts of GulfCoast, Florida and is actively involved in the Creative Education Foundation as a new member on the Board of Trustees and as a long-time leader at CPSI (Creative Problem Solving Institute). She is the Co-Chairman for Florida Creativity Weekend III. Sharing with family and friends both at home in Sarasota and around the world, traveling and photography also bring her great joy. Connie is a generous, creative soul whose insight and creativity will inspire to create your own masterpieces. Connie has organized volunteers for many charities including Habitat for Humanity. She works for FCCI in Sarasota, FL and dotes on her many grandchildren.

Russ Hoffman is a trained Lake Manager. His environmental roots go back to Iowa State University where he studied fish management, animal ecology, ornithology, environmental design and limnology (the study of lakes, ponds and streams).
The Florida Lake Management Society granted Mr. Hoffman funds to develop an educational pond at Palma Sola Botanical Park in Bradenton. You may visit this pond to discover ways to make your pond healthier and more attractive. Russ is a board member and Conservation Chairperson for the Friends of Oscar Scherer State Park. Anthony Hyatt

Anthony is a violinist and multimedia performance artist from the Washington DC area whose interest is in the role and use of improvisation techniques in the creative process.  He is a teacher for the Arts for the Aging, Inc. (AFTA)  organization under whose auspices he presents interactive programs of music and movement at senior citizen centers and for whom he co-directs the senior citizen improv dance company known as Quicksilver.  His performance credits also include multiple appearances as a member of the Naoko Maeshiba Performance Collective.  Anthony is a leader at the annual conferences of the USA based Creative Education Foundation  and of CREA  the Creativity European Association.  He does does additional creativity consulting and facilitation work through his own organization which is called Moving Beauty. Co-Chair, Nancy's extensive work with Fortune 500 companies led to Seeds for Change, her program for empowering people in the midst of increasing change. Nancy custom designs programs for organizations in these turbulent times to increase employees' and teams' emotional intelligence, creativity, and peak performance. Nancy also coaches individuals and teaches teleclasses. She is a Trainer for Heartmath, a Charter Associate Partner of George Land's Leadership 2000, a trainer in thinking styles., Foundations of Productivity and is experienced in Leadership and Team Building training. In her free time Nancy studies and performs ballroom dancing, enjoys live theater, opera and cinema, and performs in community theater.  She goes scuba diving, travels and enjoys riding her Harley.  She is also active as a community volunteer with non-profit agencies and organizations. In his role as CEO of the Parent Education Program, Tom oversees a variety of strengths-based programs and a staff of 32. He is a consultant in Creative Problem Solving and Parent Education. He is co-author, with Bea Parnes, of Parenting Playfully, a book for parents of children from pre-natal to age three. He loves to hike, bicycle and kayak. Tom is husband to a charming actress-oriented wife and is the father of two talented young adults. Tom participated in the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Creative Education Foundation YouthWise Program in South Africa and is a CEF Colleague and recipient of the Leadership Service and Commitment and Distinguished Leader Awards.

Marcia was an art teacher in Ohio and did her graduate work at Case Western Reserve while she was also at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She has helped to start several children's art programs in Sarasota including bringing Sarasota Season of Sculpture to middle school classes. She and her husband Allan,  who is also an artist,  own Quantum Wellness Center. Alison Strickland is co-founder of Applied Creativity, Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to teaching the art of creating ideas that work and helping individuals and organizations reach their creative potential. Known internationally as a skilled workshop leader who knows how to involve people in learning experiences, she has taught thousands how to live and work more creatively. For twenty-five years she has kept a reflective journal tracking learnings, insights, discoveries and ideas. Now her journaling process has become an integral part of all that she teaches.

For more than twenty years Alison has served on the faculty of the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) and facilitates workshops for the International Women's Writing Guild. Becca currently lives in New York City and has a busy life as a massage therapist and student.  She will complete her masters degree program in Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine in December.  Her earlier studies focused on theater performance and she continues to dabble in the field. She has been involved with creativity in many ways and has been attending and, more recently, leading at the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) since 1984. Susan is a member of Mensa and Intertel, and is the coordinator for Mensa's Patrick O'Brian Special Interest Group. She is the author of The Port-Wine Sea, co-author of Your Limitless Inventing Machine, and author of The Better Baby, a new book about raising happy geniuses.
